The frame
Trek always puts a lot of effort into their frames. This frame is no different. It has a super smart design, and the welding seams are nicely finished. Its sleek-looking fixed front fork and beautiful pannier rack only add to its smart look. This bike has neat black aluminium rims and comes with wide, sturdy tyres for extra comfort.

Technique
The Trek District+2 comes with a Bosch Active Line mid-drive motor (40Nm) and is limited to 25 km per hour. The motor is attached underneath the frame and the battery sits nice and stable on the frame. For an additional price you can upgrade the battery. This bike comes standard with a 300W battery, but for the additional price you can opt for a 400 or 500W, for a larger action radius. If you tend to ride with lots of baggage, it is wise to go for a battery with more capacity. The display on this bike is Purion. This allows you to keep your hands on the handlebar and still operate all the buttons with ease.

Gear and braking system
This bike comes with a Shimano Nexus Revo Shifter that gives you 7 gears. The internal gear hub is a more maintenance-friendly than a derailleur hub. Moreover, this bike is finished with a sound, hydraulic braking system to limit your brake path.

Additional finishing
This bike is ready to carry a lot of baggage. It has two pannier racks, which means you can take twice as much baggage with you than on other e-bikes. It has a sturdy double kickstand and a great handlebar lock that prevents your bike from falling over when it's carrying a lot of baggage. The sitting position is easy to adjust via an adjustable seat post. The nice rear pannier rack is soundly attached to the frame's rear fork.
