SRAM RED AXS E1 Shifter Set

The SRAM RED AXS E1 shifter set consists of the SRAM RED AXS E1 shifters + calipers + hydraulic brake lines. These cleverly engineered shifters take braking power and shifting precision to the next level. Their updated ergonomics allow you to brake with just one finger, regardless of your hand position on the handlebars. Thanks to greatly reduced weight and intuitive wireless shifting action, the bike responds more directly than ever, making every ride effortless and well controlled.

Powerful and lightweight
The SRAM RED AXS E1 shifters have a sleek new look, and the brake lever is made of carbon for serious weight savings. The brake lever has been adjusted to make braking even easier - from the hoods, it is up to 80% easier than before!

The core of these shifters is their updated housing with an optimised design that seamlessly accommodates all hand sizes. The brake levers are made of high-quality Carbon LFRT, a material that makes them extremely light and stiff and allows brake force to be transferred instantly and efficiently. The revised design allows for powerful braking with just one finger, both from the top and bottom of the drops. The accompanying caliper now has a stiffer and lighter construction and features organic brake pads with a steel backing. A greatly increased distance between the brake pads ensures friction-free operation of the disc brake rotor. Textured shift paddles and hoods offer maximum grip and comfort on long rides.

Finishes and functionality
Besides the rigid carbon base, these shifters offer several finishing details that significantly increase functionality. One notable addition is the integrated Bonus Buttons on the top, which enable the thumbs to control external ANT+ devices or assign an additional shift option. The levers have independent Reach Adjust and Contact Point Adjust so you can personalise their distance to the handlebars and the brake engagement point, without any risk of your fingers getting trapped. Bleeding Edge technology makes bleeding the brake lines super clean and easy. The redesigned shape of the shifter has reduced the overall weight by 83 grams compared to the previous generation, resulting in a complete system weight of 1378 grams for both sides with fluid and calipers.

Compatibility and fit
These wireless shifters communicate via SRAM's well-known AXS protocol and use the intuitive eTap shifting logic to control the front and rear derailleurs. The shifters are powered by standard button-cell batteries and mounted using a regular clamp on the handlebars. The hydraulic calipers are designed to work seamlessly with Paceline X disc brake rotors.
