Do not put away under tension
Make sure that after using this torque wrench you turn the tension back to 0. This is the only way to maintain the accuracy of the torque wrench.

It is important to put the BTL-73 torque spanner back in its initial position after use. This will prevent the torque from becoming less accurate over time. Should this happen in the long run, the torque wrench can be recalibrated. Please contact BBB to do so.
How do I know how much Nm I have to tighten a component?
In most cases it is written on the component, like on most seat and handlebar posts. If it is not written on the component, ask the manufacturer for the correct torque.

It’s fine when it works, but it’s not sustainable
Despite always using it with care and keeping it in its case, this tool hasn’t proved to be durable. I suddenly lost the glass insert and the scale as well. So, you might as well just throw this tool away, really. I emailed BBB to ask if they sold the glass insert and scale separately. No, just buy a new one. Clear enough. BBB isn’t really thinking about sustainability. This is the last thing I’ll ever buy from this brand. Spend a bit more on a good Torque wrench.

This is a top key for your road bike! When you take it out of the box it already feels high-end because of the nice storage box. It works very well and just does what it is supposed to do, clear instructions.
