Do not put away under tension
Make sure that after using this torque wrench you turn the tension back to 0. This is the only way to maintain the accuracy of the torque wrench.

It is important to put the BTL-73 torque spanner back in its initial position after use. This will prevent the torque from becoming less accurate over time. Should this happen in the long run, the torque wrench can be recalibrated. Please contact BBB to do so.
How do I know how much Nm I have to tighten a component?
In most cases it is written on the component, like on most seat and handlebar posts. If it is not written on the component, ask the manufacturer for the correct torque.

Nice tool, works well, but very vulnerable
I have enjoyed using this Torque wrench. It works fine and comes with good bits and nice case. Unfortunately, after a year of sporadic use, it is starting to fall apart. The sight glass is lost, the dial is coming loose and a washer is missing. Disappointment as it is not cheap and I handled it carefully and kept it neatly in the case. I am hoping for a guarantee.
