In addition, the two springs at the back of this saddle filter out vibrations caused by unevenness in the road surface.
Weatherproof saddle pad
The saddle pad of the Selle Royal Drifter Plus Relaxed Saddle is waterproof. This means you only have to wipe the saddle with a cloth after a rain shower to keep your pants dry. In addition, the surface absorbs less solar heat, keeping it up to 25 degrees cooler!

A comfortable saddle for the laid-back, upright bike rider
Very comfortable, but the saddle rail broke after a year and a half, which is why I’m giving it only 4 stars. The rail could do with being a bit sturdier compared to the saddle itself. That said, Mantel sorted it out very well (under warranty).

Worthless
Contrary to the description, this saddle is not waterproof. After a big rain shower, water comes out the sides when you sit down. So you have to use plastic bags or covers. Mantel states, after I even emailed them photos, that I should just send the saddle back so they can see if it's under warranty. (I've had the saddle for just 3 months. And then just can't bike for a few weeks? Weird service.
