According to the product specialist

Pros
Dual-band GPS provides accurate positioning, even in valleys or urban areas where satellite visibility is limited.
Free offline maps can be used without a subscription or internet connection.
Up to 65 hours’ battery life in the most accurate GPS mode suffices for multi-day trips without recharging.
As the watch is waterproof up to 100 metres, it can be used for swimming or diving.
The built-in LED flashlight adds functionality for when it’s dark.
The titanium bezel and sapphire glass make this smartwatch particularly durable without adding to its weight.
The integrated LED torch offers extra safety and visibility during training sessions in the dark.
With multiband GPS and colour maps, you will always stay on course, even in unfamiliar areas.
The adaptive Garmin Coach automatically customises training schedules to suit your fitness and recovery.
The comprehensive health functions such as HRV status, ECG and sleep coaching provide valuable insights.
Both sizes feature dual-frequency GPS for highly accurate positioning even in dense forests or between tall buildings.
The impressive battery runtime allows for multiple-day adventures without worrying about having to charge the watch.
Navigate around the world with the topographic maps that can be downloaded.
The improved Memory-in-Pixel display offers higher contrast, making data even better readable in bright sunlight than in previous models.
With 32GB internal storage, the Apex 4 offers more than enough space for all your route data, maps and any future software updates.
With Morning Report, the watch offers insight into recovery status and training advice as soon as you wake up, optimising the day's start.
SatIQ technology ensures highly accurate geo-location with minimal battery consumption, which is ideal for long training sessions.
The high-resolution AMOLED display is highly readable in direct sunlight, ensuring all data is visible at all times.
The Multisport AutoChange function automatically recognises sport changes, eliminating the need for manual entry.
Cons
The watch is relatively big but this makes the display easy to read.
Not all features are available offline, such as some voice assistants that require an active phone connection.
As the Apex 4 does not include ANT+ connectivity, some devices, such as a power meter, cannot connect with it.
Although more than enough for most users, the 8 GB storage capacity does limit the freedom of adding music or apps.
