Aluminium and carbon
The ALX All-Round aluminium frame is the sturdy and efficient core of the Strattos S2D road bike. This material keeps the overall weight down and ensures good power transfer with every pedal stroke. The relaxed geometry is specifically designed to make long hours in the saddle significantly more comfortable. At the front of the frame is a lightweight carbon fork that superbly absorbs tiring road chatter, making the bike's handling on varying stretches of asphalt smooth and stable. The carbon fork also minimises energy loss due to its stiffness.

Reliable drivetrain and braking
Shifting is very smooth with the Shimano Claris 2x8-speed drivetrain with intuitive Dual Control levers. This groupset combines a compact 50/34T Prowheel crankset with an 11-30T cassette to give you a good gearing range with enough options to always keep your preferred cadence both on steep climbs and fast descents. For braking power, the Strattos is equipped with Tektro rim brakes. These mechanical calipers provide reliable and easily controllable stopping power to give you confidence while entering sharp corners or starting steep descents.

Smooth finish and grip
The double-walled C04 aluminium rims are sturdy enough to easily absorb the shocks from poorly maintained road surfaces. Mounted on these rims are wide 700x28C Performance tyres, whose wider surface really comes into its own on paved roads, where the tyres bring low rolling resistance, high comfort and great grip in fast corners together. The cockpit and seatpost are made of lightweight aluminium. Plus, the internal cable routing through the frame not only improves aerodynamics but also makes the whole bike look very clean and tidy.
