The compact CT-5 chain pin from trusted manufacturer Park Tool is suitable for 5-12 speed bike chains. The pin is made of very strong material and can be replaced if necessary after intensive use. You can use this chain breaker both to (dis)assemble the chain and to reduce the tension between two links. The latter is made extra easy thanks to the smart recess at the bottom of the tool.

Many workshop chain breakers are too big and heavy to carry, but the CT-5 is small and super light. Yet it does not fall short in quality and use.

Note: the CT-5 is not suitable for Campagnolo 11-speed bike chains

Small and fine

As far as I am concerned, a very fine chain punch, it looks a bit fragile at first glance but it is not. The chain tool works fine and is of a size you can easily take with you. Really strong force can be difficult, but I haven't experienced that yet. Good quality, and worth the money as far as I am concerned.
