Top band

- Rienk 13 July 2024

After Rekon Race front/rear, now Rekon rear but the Forekaster front. Result, much more grip and harder, flatter through corners even with loose ground. Perfect for XC in Nl and Trail in Ardennes or Provence, for example.

Pros & Cons

Great front grip, lower pressure
Super combo with Ikon rear
Weight certainly not disappointing despite profile

Great front tyre in wet terrain

- Luc 5 July 2024

This is the old type of Forekaster. I use the tyre as a front tyre in the Ardennes. It never lets you down in unexpected situations. Offers great grip in mud and on slippery terrain. The confidence the Forekaster gives more than makes up for the slightly higher rolling resistance.

Pros & Cons

Good in mud as a front tyre
Good traction
Strong cornering grip
Rolls slightly heavier

Good all-rounder

- Martin 16 April 2023

Fine front tire, icm an Aspen or Rekon Race a nice all-round combo. Too bad that 2.4 is actually 2.3 here (59mm instead of 61). Niggling at the margins, but still.

Pros & Cons

All-round
Grip
Falls narrow
Overkill for NL routes

Very happy with it!

- Willem 12 January 2022

Put this tyre on the front and back of the bike (not tubeless yet) and I experienced a world of difference compared to the ikon. On the ikon I had a lot of sliding on the wetter trails and that seems to be 90% less now. Very happy with the choice of these tyres.

Pros & Cons

Good grip on soft ground!
Rolling resistance is not that bad

Do-it-all tire.

- Vasco 26 October 2021

Do-it-all option at an affordable price. This is one excellent tire with low rolling resistance and outstanding grip.
