Practical pack mule
There are no trendier-looking bikes than transport bikes. So it's only logical that you'll see them around town and in schoolyards. Added bonus: they're also just plain practical. It is suddenly possible to carry a lot more luggage with the front carrier. The handlebar lock and double stand also keep the bike stable when fully loaded.
To be suitable as a city-bike or school bike, a bike has to be able to take a beating. The robust design of the Gazelle HeavyDutyNL T7 definitely allows for this. As a result, this city-bike, despite having an aluminium frame, is not a very light city-bike. Thanks to the 7 gears, wide tyres and the fine saddle, it still cycles fine and light. The riding position gives a comfortable feeling while cycling. Cycling smoothly is still possible, because the maintenance-free internal hub gear has no fewer than 7 gears. So you can always make the right choice.
Reliable technology
A good transport bike is not only sturdy but also reliable. Thus, this Gazelle HeavyDutyNL T7 is also equipped with maintenance-friendly parts. Of course, the internal hub gear and hub dynamo are very reliable. In fact, the vulnerable parts are well concealed. This hub dynamo powers the headlight. The rear light runs on batteries. The roller brakes are also very reliable, under all conditions these brakes react the same, which gives confidence. The appearance of this bike is further completed by the coloured chain guard. This keeps the chain from getting dirty, which only adds to its reliability. So the HeavyDutyNL T7 is a beautiful, sturdy and reliable bike.

Reliable but heavy bike
Good bike, sturdy and strong. Very heavy though. It did not come with a crate, which we had to buy ourselves. Sometimes the Axa frame lock does not work properly. Rear light works on batteries and not on the dynamo like the front light. That is a pity. Otherwise a fine bike

Fine bike, shifts smoothly and cycles very comfortably.
Very nice bike. Rides smoothly and plenty of room for luggage (I fitted panniers, which fit easily on the spacious carrier). I did experience a gear failure shortly after purchase. It took a while to find the cause, but was eventually solved neatly within the warranty by Mantel employees.
