Of course, the internal hub gear and hub dynamo are very reliable. In fact, the vulnerable parts are well concealed. This hub dynamo powers the headlight. The rear light runs on batteries. The roller brakes are also very reliable, under all conditions these brakes react the same, which gives confidence. The appearance of this bike is further completed by the coloured chain guard. Fine bike, shifts smoothly and cycles very comfortably.
Very nice bike. Rides smoothly and plenty of room for luggage (I fitted panniers, which fit easily on the spacious carrier). I did experience a gear failure shortly after purchase. It took a while to find the cause, but was eventually solved neatly within the warranty by Mantel employees.
