A water-repellent design
The Tour panniers are made of water-repellent polyester. This keeps your belongings dry in a light rain shower. The flaps prevent rainwater and blowing dust from getting into the bag through the sides. Plus, the panniers have a side pocket on both sides. This compartment is ideal for storing small items, such as a key, bike light or coins.
Practical and versatile
The fronts of the pannier bags are curved. This keeps the heel of your shoe from touching the bags as you pedal, so you can enjoy optimal freedom of movement. The bags have been designed with a cutout for the use of carrier straps, LED lighting or a child's bike seat. The Basil Tour fits on almost all pannier racks, including ones with spring clamps and the pannier racks of electric bicycles.

Large, sturdy shopping bags.
Large, sturdy 35-litre carrier bags. Thanks to the sloping sides, there’s no risk of your heels hitting the bags. Fitting them onto your luggage rack for the first time isn’t that easy with the buckles. The top section is no longer in one piece, so you now have to use Velcro to fasten the lid to the side flaps. This is my second set; the first ones lasted 12 years for my weekly shopping trips. I’m glad they’re still being made.

So far, I am happy with it. It is sturdy. You can secure it firmly with the binders on the carrier. The Velcro closure system on the sides could be a bit better. It does not stay tight. Otherwise good value for money.
