With the Basil City you are ready for city life! With a maximum capacity of 32 liters, these stylish and elegant double panniers are ideal for commuting, fun outings and daily shopping.
Attaching system: Strap or MIK?
The black bag is available with two different mounting options, namely, with a traditional belt attachment that you can attach on top of the luggage carrier, or a with a MIK attachment, which can only be attached to MIK compatible luggage carriers. If your luggage carrier is not compatible, you will need this luggage carrier adapter. With MIK your bag is securely fastened, but you can also remove and install it very easily. Ideal when you have several bags or baskets. If you want to make another bag compatible with MIK, then you need this adapter plate.
Safe and practical
The Basil City double pannier is equipped with reflective elements. This increases your visibility in traffic. This is especially important in busy areas, such as the city, where you can easily be overlooked by other road users because of all the bustle. That is why the Basil City is also equipped with a holder for extra bicycle lighting.
The capacity of the Basil City is a minimum of 28 liters. Need more space? No problem! Thanks to the folding closure, you can easily increase the capacity of the Basil City to 32 litres.
Rain is no problem!
A further advantage of the Basil City is that this bag is splash-proof. This means that the material keeps most water out, but the bag is not completely closed because of the folding closure with Velcro. However, in light rains showers things will stay dry.
Easy compotability
The Basil City is equipped with the Universal Bridge System. With this system you can choose how you want to attach the double rear pannier to your bicycle. As standard, this is possible with pre-assembled straps, but you also have the option to use the MIK system or the Basil DBS system. You do have to buy an adapter for these systems separately, because the Basil City is not supplied with this as standard.
