Cube Nuroad One

Stable base
The Cube Nuroad One is a great bike for an interesting price tag, for which you'll get a bike ready for every challenge you want to undertake. The aluminium frame has Gravel Comfort geometry, a characteristic of Cube gravel bikes. This geometry has a nice name, but it's meaning is even more important: a comfortable sitting position, with clever angles to make this bike stable and agile when cornering. That stability makes this bike very suitable for off-road novices, too. Plus, you can install mudguards, a pannier rack and a low ride front rack on this bike, in case you want to head out for a bikepacking adventure. A wide range of gears
Just as important as the frame is the groupset. The shifting components are produced by Microshift, a brand known for its high-quality, good value groupsets. You'll have access to no less than 10 gears, so you'll have plenty of range to speed across flat stretches or to bike onto steep hills. Plus, this bike is a 1 by, which means it doesn't come with a front derailleur. This is the standard among off-road bikes these days, because you'll need to be able to shift gears instinctively on tough parts of your route. To make sure you'll still have a wide range, the smallest cog of the cassette has only 11 teeth, while the largest has 48.

Quality components
There's nothing wrong with the rest of the components of this gravel bike, either. It comes with mechanical disc brakes from the well known brand Tektro, to provide you with a lot of braking force. A small disadvantage is that this braking force is applied quite suddenly: be sure to be careful with your front brake during descents! Plus, almost all other parts like wheels, stem, saddle et cetera are made in-house at Cube: quality guaranteed!
