A pair of bib tights that you wear throughout the winter season must be able to cope with a wider temperature range than a specialist model designed for extreme cold or, conversely, for milder days. The Definitivo fabric is therefore not the warmest or the most windproof option in the Castelli range, but it is the most consistent: it performs reliably between 2°C and 14°C, without you having to reach for a different pair of tights every time the temperature fluctuates.
