While the previous version of the Castelli Perfetto jacket used GORE-TEX INFINIUM fabric, the new Perfetto '3' uses PFAS-free Polartec AirCore material, which is lighter, stretchier and more breathable than the previous fabric.

Material and fit
The jacket is made using an exclusive 150 gram Polartec AirCore membrane that combines breathability with protection from wind and rain. The fabric lets air enter and escape in a controlled manner, so heat and moisture are dissipated without compromising on comfort. The jacket's fit is snug with plenty of stretch, suitable for temperatures between 5 and 15 degrees. If you wear an additional underlayer, this range can be extended to lower temperatures.

The three back pockets feature drainage holes so that any water can get out. Reflective strips on the shoulders and piping under the pockets increase your visibility in poor light conditions. The extended back panel provides extra protection against road spray from the rear wheel.
