MOTO
The Zipp MOTO technology is, in a way, similar to the flexibility of a human ankle. When the wheel rides over a stone or tree root in a corner, the rim can bend locally to stay parallel to the ground. This flexibility allows you to hold your line and not bounce off. This not only increases traction, but also riding comfort!
Zipp's ZR1 hubset allows you to perform to the best of your ability in all weathers. The freehub is well sealed, preventing water and dirt from getting in. The hubset has 66 points of engagement, so you'll be able to power through the hills quickly!

'Magic Carpet' feeling!
Purchased these wheels in 650b format. Truly the perfect wheels for gravel. For me comfort comes first and icm with a 45mm tyre this rim really comes into its own with the compliance of the rim and thicker tyre you really have a 'magic carpet' feeling. The rim tape that Zipp uses from the factory is of very poor quality or just poorly fitted. Occasionally have sealant coming out through the spokes. For now, it seals every time. Too bad Zipp's decals come off so quickly.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
The Zipp 101 XPLR wheels are highly recommended.
These gravel wheels leave a thoroughly positive impression, especially when it comes to outstanding comfort and impressive grip off-road. The wheels' pleasant flex helps them to excel on rough terrain and the hub's 66 engagement points ensure fast response behaviour.

Perfect wheels for gravel
The fact that the inside width is 27mm makes the Pathfinder 47mm tyres 49mm. This improves rolling resistance, traction, and comfort. They are not aero nor are they the lightest but with large volume knobby tyres the aerodynamics are almost non-existent. To notice the bike's functions I think you have to go very fast. The price is high but Mantel has the most competitive and the quality is also high.
