Shimano Ultegra 6701 10-speed chain, made for Shimano 10 speed cassettes. The Ultegra 6710 10-speed chain has been completely re-designed. The Ultegra 6701 10-speed chain can only be installed one way. The Ultegra 6701 10-speed chain is unidirectional. The flattened side which contains text is specifically designed to change gears and feel smooth as butter. The links of the Ultegra 6701 10-speed chain are machined to save the necessary weight. The chain is easy to install using the supplied connector pin.
Note: the Shimano Ultegra 6710 10-speed chain is only suitable for cranks with two front chainrings (Double & Compact). For a triple crankset the 6600 chain is recommended.
• To adjust the length of the chain, you need a chain breaker (chain rivet tool). These can be found here.
• A chain checker (chain wear indicator tool) allows you to see to which extent your chain is worn out, so you can replace it in due time. Chain checkers can be found here.
