Shimano Ultegra 6701 10 Speed

The weak link is the included shear pin. Got loose while cycling, chain snapped into cassette and pulled derailleur with it and it broke off. In the rear wheel there is a stroke. Two aero spokes will be replaced. Break pad (derailleur hanger) bent and bolts loose. Requested a new derailleur hanger from the manufacturer of my road bike (hope it is available), bought a new 105 derailleur and received bill from bike shop for reassembly and adjustment. Rear wheel not yet back from wheel builder. All in all one big drama due to a non-functioning break pad.
