Thanks to its aggressive tread design, the G-One Ultrabite is well suited to off-road applications in rough to wet conditions. The tread lugs are designed to bite into wet surfaces in particular. Because the studs are not too close to each other, water and mud can be drained off well. Nevertheless, there is sufficient surface area so that you also have sufficient grip on dry surfaces. Furthermore, the studs on the sidewalls are designed to provide absolute certainty and control when cornering.
The Addix rubber compound is a universal compound for Schwalbe's performance line. Comparable to the Addix SpeedGrip, this rubber compound offers a combination of all properties. Furthermore, Addix has a long lifespan.
RaceGuard
The RaceGuard puncture protection layer consists of two nylon layers crossing each other. This keeps the tyre light while ensuring good puncture resistance.
Tubeless Easy
Tubeless Easy is the new version of Schwalbe's proven Tubeless Ready technology and is used in high quality outer tubes. The new monofilament fabric in the tyre sidewall makes a very light conversion from tubeless possible. Liquid latex is of course still required to make the tyre completely airtight, but fitting is as easy as real tubeless tyres.

Fine but leaky mud tyre
Fine mud tyre for the gravel bike in winter. Ridden a muddy MTB route with it twice and always had excellent traction. I was familiar with the stories about punctures in tyres with this kind of brown sidewall. I never had this problem with my other Schwalbe G-One tyres (two sets), but they leak incredibly (see photo). Fortunately, the tubeless sealant seems to slowly remedy this. For completeness: the photo looks a bit dramatic because there is also soapy water on the tyre, but every white dot or blob is actually a leak. Consequently, the tyres run completely flat within a few days.
