The combination of the wide rim profile and the 20 mm internal rim width, and the use of a DT Swiss 350 hub makes for a very durable and high-quality wheel set. Thanks to the ratchet body, you can get the wheels going very quickly and lose little power when pressing down on the pedals. The DT Swiss hubs have been known for years as one of the best in terms of durability and sealing. So if you are looking for durable, reliable and impact-resistant wheels, the DT Swiss ER 1600 Spline 23 DB are definitely something for you!
Upgrade offer: add tyres
You can easily add Pirelli P Zero Race 4S tyres to your order of these DT Swiss ER 1600 Spline 23 DB wheels. The Pirelli tyres are a perfect match for the wheels, as they focus on robustness and comfort without compromising on performance. The tyres have a high level of puncture resistance and grip, combined with a relatively low rolling resistance. If you mount these tyres on your new DT Swiss ER 1600 Spline 23 DB wheels, you will be cycling all year round to your heart's content and without any worries.
Those looking for the most affordable high-performance hubs available should take a closer look at the 350 hubs. The 350 hub offers the same performance as the more high-end hubs, but is built with slightly heavier components to provide the same reliability at a much lower cost. The patented ratchet freehub system offers very fast power transfer and guarantees top performance and reliability. This system can be disassembled and maintained without tools.
Pro Lock spoke nipples
Pro Lock is a process where a patented dual-compound adhesive liquid is injected into the nipple thread, allowing for extremely durable wheel builds. When the nipple is threaded onto the spoke the adhesive is activated and begins to harden. Re-truing the wheel is still possible after the adhesive has hardened completely, with only a minimal decrease of its thread-lock function. Thus, the wheels retain much better spoke tension for a long time. This improves wheel durability and proper spoke tension up to 20 times compared to wheels with no Pro Lock nipples.
Tubeless ready
The DT Swiss ER 1600 Spline 23 DB road bike wheels have tubeless-ready rims to allow you to ride with tubeless tyres and latex. This set-up minimises the chance of getting a flat tyre. Should a puncture occur, the latex seals the hole within seconds. Other advantages of riding tubeless include lower rolling resistance, more comfort and better grip. Of course, it is also possible to fit your good old folding tyres with inner tubes.

Good product!
I am very satisfied with the wheels and can really recommend them!
5 / 5
Solid top wheels.
These are the most solid wheels I have ever cycled with. The wheels are light and stiff, which you notice when putting them on. The wheels are also comfortable due to the wider rim, although I would like the rim to be even wider (preferably 21mm or 22mm internal width, instead of 20mm). The hubs still run smoothly, even after many rides in the rain. Top wheels!
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
these wheels are 400g lighter than my standard wheels on my cannondale, which is especially noticeable.
The Swiss Er 1600 Spline 23 DB are noticeably lighter and grip immediately with these 350 hubs

Great wheelset
Nice set of wheels at a reasonable price. According to the bike shop, rock solid, time will tell. The relatively wide internal rim fits 28mm tyres nicely. This makes the bike look a bit tighter.
