The Yepp Maxi bicycle seat is one of the most comfortable and safe rear seats for your child. The Yepp Maxi is available in two models depending on the mounting location: on the luggage rack or on the seat post of your bicycle. In addition, there are several colours to choose from. Five-point harness and foot rests
The five-point harness with soft shoulder pads keeps your child's back in contact with the backrest. This way, your child is well-protected in the event of an accident. The five-point harness can be operated with one hand, leaving the other free. The footrests are adjustable in height and the foot straps prevent little feet from dangling near the spokes. Besides providing support, this also ensures extra safety.

The Yepp Maxi complies with the European safety standards (EN 14344) for child seats. This means that the seat does not have any sharp edges or holes that children can stick their fingers into. Also, the foot straps and belt cannot be loosened by the child, so the child remains securely seated in the seat. The seat has a built-in reflector and a mounting point for bicycle lights. In short, with this rear seat you and your child will be cruising confidently.

Comfort
This seat is not only safe, but also very comfortable. The ergonomic design supports a normal sitting position. This rear seat is made of shock-absorbent rubber, which dampens a lot of the vibrations and oscillations that can arise when the road is bumpy. How do you mount the Yepp Maxi?
If you want to mount the Yepp Maxi onto your luggage carrier then choose the Yepp Maxi with luggage carrier attachment (Easy Fit). If you have a luggage carrier without an Easy fit window then use the Yepp Adapter Easy Fit.
With the seat tube mounting option you can mount the Yepp Maxi bicycle seat onto the seat tube of your bicycle. The seat tube mounting option is compatible with seat tubes from 28 to 40 mm in diameter.

From what age can my child be in a child seat?
Children that are 9 months and up can be in a child seat. It is important that the child is able to move themselves from a leaning side-ways position to an upright position without using their hands. This is a sign that the child's neck has developed enough for the child to be transported in a child seat.

What is EasyFit?
EasyFit is a quick-release mounting system that allows you to mount your child's bike seat safely, easily and quickly onto your carrier. This system allows you to quickly switch the rear seat to from one parent's (or grandparent's) bike to the other.

What is a seat post mount?.
With a seat post mount you can attach the Yepp Maxi to the seat post of the frame. This is useful if your bike has no carrier rack or if the rack cannot support the maximum weight. The Yepp Maxi can be mounted onto oval and round seat tubes with a diameter of 28 to 40 millimetres and fits both men's and women's bicycles. The Yepp Maxi with seat post mount can be easily transferred to another bicycle with an extra Yepp Adapter Seat Post Mount.

Does the seat come with an EasyFit window or EasyFit adapter?
No, they do not come included with the seat. If you have a carrier rack without an EasyFit window, mount a Yepp Adapter EasyFit on your rack first.
