The Vision Metron 40 SL TLR road bike wheels are extremely lightweight with a weight of only 1369 grams. This makes them easy to ride uphill and to accelerate after a turn. With the option of converting the Vision Metron 40 SL TLR wheels to tubeless, you can also lose added weight by not using inner tubes. Of course, you can still opt to use folding tyres and inner tubes. Vision profiles the Metron 40 SL TLR wheels as all-round climbing wheels and cyclocross wheels. This says a lot about their quality: they're simply ultra-reliable.
These Metron SL wheels are equipped with a new laser-etched micro-dot braking surface that increases stopping power in all weather types. This ensures you'll always come to a stop safely. The P.R.A. hubs have angular contact bearings to better withstand loads from any angle. This helps to maintain their level of quality and reduces friction in the bearings when cornering. The hand-built Vision Metron 40 SL TLR have aero spokes, which are secured to the full carbon rim with ABS spoke nipples to ensure consistent and optimal spoke tension.
