The Ubique R50C wheels are built with the Sapim D-light 1.6-2.0mm spokes that guarantee a stiff wheelset. The thicker double-butted spoke ends make the chances of a spoke breaking very low. The Ubique decals are gloss black for a subtle but visible branding. With this, Ubique aims to quickly become known within the cycling world and preferably provide as many cyclists as possible with good wheels at a great price!
Ubique
Since 2017, Mantel started developing its own carbon wheels in collaboration with well-known wheel manufacturers. This was such a great success that it has continued under the name Ubique. Ubique in Latin stands for everywhere. This is how the brand hooks up with being able to use Ubique anywhere in the world. Two generations of Mantel wheels have provided the feedback to keep developing the product. We have been able to do this through product analysis, customer feedback, seeing the developments in the market and, of course, our own cycling experience. With these wheels, Ubique offers a wheelset for multiple disciplines, such as race and gravel. Ubique's goal is to put a line of products in the bike market that are competitively priced, but absolutely not inferior to well-known brands in the same product category. And at the same time being able to offer a high-quality and reliable product.
These Ubique R50C Disc wheels are suitable for tubeless tyres as well as folding or wire tyres. The tight fit between outer tyres and rims makes the wheels easy to make tubeless. This involves fitting tubeless tyres, tubeless valves and then adding latex sealant. This allows you to continue cycling in the event of a puncture in most cases and you don't have to stop by the side of the road to change a tyre. The latex sealant fills the hole within seconds if it is no bigger than 2mm.

Good rim for the price quality highly recommended
The rims look very nice on the TREk Madone sl6 makes the bike feel lighter. The rims do their job well on the road, handlebars are tight and hills are no problem either. I ride the bike with inner tubes which goes very well, the tyre size is 25 mm, which also looks nice. The rims roll nicely and have no blockages, which you sometimes hear about. And what I find important is that side winds don't bother me, which is nice with a strong wind.

Super wheels
Wheels feel very steady, tight even in fast corners. Comparable quality from other brands at least €300 more expensive. Stated weight is correct to the gram.
