The Trek X-Caliber 8 has been reintroduced to the 2017 series by Trek. The frame is not only incredibly light and strong, it also has internal cabling, which results in a clean look. The groupset by Sram is good, and shifts perfectly. The front fork is a RockShox Recon Silver and does what it has to, filter out bumps. In short the Trek X-Caliber 8 is the right choice when you're looking for an affordable do-it-all mountain bike!
