Bright looks
The handsome aluminium frame blends nicely with the integrated Bosch battery. The narrow carrier, gearing system and hydraulic disc brakes give the Trek Verve+ 3 a sporty look. Yet the bike is very versatile! Thanks to the front fork suspension, seat post suspension and adjustable stem, you can also easily put it in a bit more of an upright sitting position.
Trek makes incredibly beautiful bikes. This electric bike is made with, by Trek optimised for stiffness and weight, Alpha Gold aluminium. With a 50 mm suspension travel, you'll have optimum comfort from your front fork for relaxed rides! The wheels are made of stainless steel! To complete the looks, they have finished these sleekly in black.
Battery and motor
With a nice integrated 545W Bosch battery and a powerful Bosch Performance Line Cruise motor (75Nm), you have the perfect bike for touring or everyday use. The motor is designed for a sporty and powerful riding style, making it good to use on different surfaces. Thus, this e-bike will also reach the maximum of 25 km/h on a steep hill. The beautiful Bosch Intuvia display makes everything easy to operate while you can easily keep your hands on the handlebars. It is nicely placed centrally on the handlebars and displays the important information clearly and brightly.
Shifting and braking
The Trek Verve+ 3 comes with a Shimano shifting and braking system. It comes with an 11-36 cassette, allowing you to shift between 9 gears. Of course, there are hydraulic disc brakes on this bike to make you feel safe while riding. After all, these have all the braking power you could wish for.
Other parts
The e-bike has many adjustment options so you can create the right position for almost every cyclist. Because the handlebars are both height-adjustable and tiltable, you can sit more sportily forward or completely upright. The bike has a suspended front fork for comfort and a nice suspension seat post. Of course, this seat post can be adjusted for each cyclist. The nice sporty rear carrier, the carrier straps and the bell complete the bike!

More than meets our expectations!
Pros & Cons

Lovely bike for many leisurely rides!
What an incredibly nice bike! Shifts well, bike responds well. I consciously chose a bike with a derailleur. That does require some extra maintenance. If that's not your thing, it's better to go for a bike with a closed chaincase. The battery has a good range. And...finally a bike with a nice saddle! The Smart system is a nice extra option. What is unfortunate is that Trek has cut back on the shifting group. That is now Altus. That should have been Deore. This bike is used in all weathers and it can take it. No breakdowns, it does what I bought it for: making sure I get to work and home safely without too much sweat on my back :) What I do notice is that rust (within 2 weeks) quickly appears on the heads of the screws. I myself have some trouble clicking the battery into the system, which takes quite a bit of strength. Not ideal with cold weather (and cold hands). But once the battery is in place, it is really tight. No rattling. A nice quiet bike, you can hardly hear the engine either!
