Trek Verve+ 3 Electric Hybrid Bike

The Trek Verve+3 is a fully equipped, versatile bike. With its powerful pedal-assist system it is a sporty bike that turns every bike ride into an enjoyable outing.

Attractive appearance
The aluminium frame looks very attractive with the Bosch battery fully integrated into it. The narrow luggage carrier, the gear shifting system and the hydraulic disc brakes give the Trek Verve+ 3 a sporty look. Still, it is very diverse! Thanks to the front fork suspension, seat post suspension and adjustable stem, it can also be used very comfortably with a more upright sitting position.

Frame, fork and wheels
Trek makes spectacular looking bikes. This Verve+ 3 model is made from Alpha Gold aluminium, optimised by Trek in terms of stiffness and weight. The suspension fork with 50 mm of travel gives you the greatest comfort for relaxing rides. The wheels are made from stainless steel! And they have a black finish to complete their sleek look.

Battery and motor
With a beautifully integrated 400 Wh Bosch battery and a strong Bosch Performance Line Cruise motor (65 Nm) you have the perfect bike for touring or everyday use. The motor was designed with a focus on a sporty and powerful riding style, which makes it very suitable for use on different types of terrain. Even on steep hills, this bike can achieve the maximum 25 km/h. The lovely Bosch Purion display is easy to operate whilst keeping your hands on the handlebar. It is the most basic display in the Bosch range but the good thing about that is that fewer functions also means easier operating.

Shift and brake system
The Trek Verve+ 3 comes with a Shimano gear shift and brake system. It comes with an 11-36 cassette which allows you to switch between 9 gears. Of course, this bike comes with hydraulic disc brakes to make you feel safe knowing that they provide all the braking power you could ask for.

Other parts
The Trek Verve+ 3 has many adjustment options to create the right sitting position for almost any rider. The handlebar can be adjusted in height and can tilt, allowing you to lean more or less forward or sit fully upright. For additional comfort the bike has a suspension fork and suspension seat post. The latter, of course, can be adjusted for each cyclist. The nice sporty rear carrier, the carrier straps and the bell make the bike complete!

Maintenance of the battery
If possible, charge your battery at room temperature. If outside temperatures drop below zero, we recommend removing the battery and storing it inside.
Do not store the battery empty. If you plan not to use your e-bike for a longer period of time, we recommend storing the battery at room temperature around 60% full. Charge the battery occasionally (once a month) to ensure that it lasts as long as possible.

Maintenance of gear parts and brakes
We recommend a regular cleaning of the chain and derailleur for optimum durability and efficiency. As for the hydraulic disc brakes, we recommend cleaning those hardly ever, as contamination with grease and detergents may impair braking performance. If you do want to clean the brake discs, we recommend doing so with a dry paper towel. Try not to touch the discs with your fingers.

Tyre pressure
Having the right tyre pressure is important. The wrong tyre pressure may cause punctures, more wear, rim damage when the pressure is low, and uncomfortable handling. For most e-bikes, tyre pressure is between 3.5 and 6 bar. The recommended pressure for your tyres should be printed on their sidewall.

While you can do a lot of maintenance work yourself, it may be wise to have it checked by a qualified bike mechanic.
