The Trek Madone SL 6 Di2 has several characteristics that until recently could not be found together in a road bike: speed and comfort. That makes this Trek a fantastic road bike that should not be missing from anyone's shortlist.
The core of this fantastic bike is the 500 series OCLV carbon frame. Not only is it streamlined, but it is also comfortable. The IsoSpeed damping is controlled by an elastomer that provides smooth, controlled and stable rebound movement. Moreover, the frame ensures that the ride characteristics are among the best.

They went all out on good components for the Trek Madone SL. The latest Shimano 105 R7150 groupset is the most exclusive version of the 105 line. The same technology as the higher positioned groupsets but with and slightly higher weight. Super-fast electronic shifting and a 2x12 speed drivetrain are the key words here.
Carbon wheelset
The Madone SL 6 comes with carbon Bontrager Aeolus Elite 50 disc wheels. These are stiff and aerodynamic and contribute to the good steering characteristics and easy to achieve high speeds. To round things off, an aerodynamic Bontrager handlebar is mounted that conceals the cables completely.
