Not just comfortable
The beating heart of the Roadmachine Five is its fantastic carbon frame. Designed to be comfortable, but with features that also make the bike fast. It has 28mm wide tyres as standard, but the frame offers enough room for the even wider 33mm, making the Roadmachine quite versatile. Cobblestone roads, shell paths, dirt tracks feel much more comfortable than you expect. And being light and aerodynamic, the BMC Roadmachine Five thunders over them with ease. The seating position of this BMC is a blend between comfortable and sporty.
New Shimano 105 DI2 groupset
In terms of equipment, there is little left to wish for either. The BMC Roadmachine five is equipped with the new Shimano 105 DI2 groupset. The 2x12 electronic speed drivetrain which allows for super fast and accurate shifting even under heavy loads. And in all conditions, you can rely on Shimano's hydraulic brakes: these will always bring you to a timely stop. (Note: the bike is pictured with the mechanical Shimano 105 groupset just to give you an impression of the colour)

Completing the look is the very solid Mavic/Formula wheelset fitted with Vittoria Rubino tyres (28mm), which offer a fine mix of low rolling resistance, plenty of grip and excellent puncture resistance.
