High-quality base
The base of the mountain bike is its carbon frame with a fully integrated battery. The bike has modern frame technology such as Mino Link and Active Braking Pivot. If you want to adjust the height of the saddle for a descent, for example, you can do so easily with the dropper seat post. The Fuel EXE 9.7 is easy to keep under control on challenging trails thanks to the stiff Fox Rhytm 36 front fork and FOX Performance Float X rear suspension with 150 and 140mm of travel, respectively.

Natural assistance
The assistance is generated by the small and very quiet TQ mid-motor. The mid-motor gives you the assistance you need in a smooth and natural way. The motor has a 50Nm torque which gives you just that little extra power. The motor is controlled from the handlebars with the TQ controller. The LED display is beautifully integrated into the top tube of the frame and provides and displays basic data superbly.

Smooth shifting and braking
The Fuel EXE 9.7 is equipped with the finest Shimano SLX/XT components. You'll have 12 gears at your disposal, with an enormous range. This range of gears means that even the steepest hills are no problem. The powerful Shimano Deore disc brakes with four brake pistons are responsible for braking. These give the Trek a lot of braking power. Even in bad weather conditions you can be sure that the hydraulic disc brakes will bring you to a halt right on time.
