De Trek Domane SLR 7 is innovatief op het gebied van comfort. Het 600 Series OCLV Carbon frame in combinatie met de nieuw ontwikkelde instelbare IsoSpeed ‘Decoupler’ zorgt ervoor dat deze fiets als een vliegend tapijt over kasseien gaat. Aan de hand van dit systeem is de stugheid van het frame in te stellen. Dus bij ritten op asfalt wegen stel je de decoupler op zijn stijfste in en op klinker en kasseien ondergronden naar maximaal comfort. De brede Bontrager velgen met 28 mm banden filteren de kleine oneffenheden in het wegdek eruit. Met de Shimano Ultegra DI2 is elk schakelmoment raak ook als de weersomstandigheden net even wat minder zijn.
