The Trek CarBack Radar combines a high-end rear light with a radar feature, so you'll be clearly visible and get warnings about rear-approaching traffic! It detects cars and other vehicles from up to 240 meters away and gives you both an audio and visual cue. With this radar, you'll increase your safety on the road.
Powerful lights
Aside from having a radar, of course you'll want to be clearly visible to others, too. The integrated rear light has four light modes, including two flashing modes, and is visible during the daytime, too. With a light output of up to 90 lumens, you'll be visible from up to 2 kilometres away to traffic coming up behind you.
Radar
With the special radar feature, you'll be notified when a car or other vehicle approaches you from behind. This gives you time to move over, and you won't be startled by cars quickly overtaking you. The radar detects vehicles up to 240 meters away, and then provides both an audio and visual signal via your bike computer! It can pair with almost every (modern) bike computer, and of course with your phone, through its ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity.
Rechargeable
The CarBack Radar takes 4 hours to recharge using the included USB-C cable. The 2000 mAh LiPo battery has a battery life of over 7 hours, more than long enough for even the longest bike rides. Plus, it has an IPX7 waterpoofing rating, so you can use it even in the pouring rain.
