The SRAM XG-1299 C1 cassette is part of the new Eagle S500 groupset, the most sophisticated one in the S-series, featuring AXS wireless shifting technology. The S500 series is a lightweight groupset with excellent shifting performance. The S500 series is suitable for use on electric mountain bikes.
The 520% range allows you to use a larger chainring without sacrificing climbing range. Thus, you will spend more of your time higher up in the cassette, where power transfer is most efficient and wear is minimal. The cassette has an X-Dome construction, which means that the 11 smallest cogs are milled from a single piece of hard steel, improving the cassette's weight and longevity. As a result, the design is very open and drains mud faster so you will enjoy optimal shifting performance for longer.
