Made for road cyclists who want to have a first go with clipless pedals or for experienced riders looking for pedals suitable for training and touring. Just like the Light Action pedals, the float can't be adjusted with the Speedplay Ultra Light Action Chrome-Moly pedals.
Unique to the Speedplay pedals is the dual-sided engagement, something we really only knew from mountain bike pedals. The pedals have also been given a sleeker profile which increases your ground clearance over other pedals. This allows you to corner at extremer angles and to pedal for longer without striking the pedal on the ground.
Speedplay uses a 4-point mounting system. Each set comes with adapters to mount the cleats to standard 3-point shoes as well however.
