Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons

  • Because you can mount this mudguard firmly on the seat post, casual thieves are quickly discouraged!
  • The length offers optimal protection between wetness and dirt from the road.
  • Removing or replacing the mudguard during the season is a little less easy with the fixed mount.

keeps you dry on wet roads

- Bernard 1 March 2025

I took 2 for my road bikes but it doesn't fit on 1 of the 2 because the stem is diamond shaped. No worries, I'll use it on my daughter's bike which didn't have mudguards.

Lightweight and efficient

- A.G. 3 June 2024

Lightweight and easy to fit. However, the bolt that secures it to the seat tube is difficult to tighten all the way, as the nut turns at the same time without being able to be wedged in place due to its size (there's no room for a spanner to hold it in place). If you screw it on as tightly as possible, there's a bit of play, but it holds well, so there's little risk of it falling off. After 1 week's use in the rain and on wet roads, I've noticed that it's really effective, with no more splashes on my back or backpack! The model that screws onto the seat tube is intended for more permanent use, and is safer in my opinion than the Velcro model (which is easier to remove if used intermittently). It's lightweight and doesn't disfigure the bike!

Featherweight wing to die for, dry from butt to crown

- Eddie 28 December 2023

Mudguard to be proud of. For tyres up to 35 mm. Aero! Well thought-out mounting system, which allows you to adjust the height and distance to the tyre. For example, you can also mount this SKS above your carrier. Slim, slender and light in construction, but stands like a house. Granted, an ass saver is lighter, but only saves your ass. This one keeps you dry from butt to crown. Assembly is a few minutes of precision work, but then you have something. And at that price.

Pros & Cons

Featherweight
Slim and elegant
Solid mounting

With some patience, it does exactly what it needs to do!

- Dian 20 November 2021

The mudguard does exactly what it is supposed to do and stops all water. Furthermore, it is firmly attached and adjustable to any position. Only disadvantage is that the mudguard in combination with the saddlebag does not fit very well and that it takes some time to mount and adjust it properly on the bike.

Pros & Cons

Adjustable in any position
Sturdy
Difficult to combine with saddlebag
Getting it mounted perfectly takes some time

Does not fit road bike (Trek size 54)

- Boris 28 January 2021

The clamp for around the seat tube is way too big for my Trek road bike. And the mudguard itself doesn't fit either. It then stands up at a 45-degree angle. My road bike is size 54, so not very small after all. I do not recommend this product.

Pros & Cons

strong quality
difficult to assemble
too big
