Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons

  • The Shimano XT & SLX 12 speed Upgrade Kit combines the great shifting performance of the XT rear derailleur with the affordable components of Shimano SLX.
  • Thanks to the Hypergilde+ technology incorporated in the sprockets, you shift smoothly, even under load.
  • In combination with the Shimano 12 speed 10/45 or 10/51 MTB cassettes, this upgrade kit offers a very wide range of possible gears.
  • Heavier than a full XT groupset.
