With this Shimano Ultegra R8000 Derailleur Upgrade Kit you can purchase everything at once to install a new derailleur. Very useful if you're planning on hitting the mountains and need lighter gears with the accompanying long cage rear derailleur! In these cases you often need a longer chain, so that's why we included one.

Can be used with all mechanical 11-speed Shimano shifters
You can use this kit with all mechanical 11-speed Shimano shifters. So whether you have Ultegra, 105 or Dura-Ace, this derailleur will work perfectly with the shifters.

Ultegra R8000 Rear Derailleur
The Ultegra derailleur is designed with Shimano's Shadow-Link design. As a result, the derailleur is located further under the cassette, so that the derailleur is better protected and shifts faster. Even in bad conditions, this derailleur will still shift well!

Ultegra R8000 Cassette
The Ultegra R8000 cassette is manufactured with great precision. The first 5 cogs are on two spiders, making them stiffer and less likely to bite into the body. The teeth are sharpened in such a way that makes shifting responsive and smooth, even under load. The cogs have been given an extra nickel coating to make them more wear-resistant. In addition, the weight of the cassette has been kept low.

Proportions for every terrain
There are multiple cassette ratios to choose from for different terrains. For example, the cassettes ending at 25T are used more on the flat and slightly sloping roads. The 28T is used for hilly roads and the 30T, 32T and 34T for real mountain rides. The 14/28 is mainly used for cyclists who want the smallest possible transitions, for the ideal cadence. All this, of course, taking into consideration whether you ride compact, semi-compact or double.

HG701 Ultegra chain
The Ultegra Chain is light and ensures that you shift quickly. All parts of the chain have been given a wear-resistant coating. The Shimano Quick-Link is included with the chain, so that you can easily install and detach the chain.
