The RC703 is made using a synthetic leather upper part for excellent ventilation, ideal on intense rides. Its seamless integration of the midsole and upper part provides an improved stability and a lightweight build. This shoe was designed especially for men and has a wrapping fit, so it'll feel like a glove, which considerably improves your comfort on long rides.
Extra functionalities
The BOA® Fit System with double L6 dials ensures a precise, adjustable fit. The hollow carbon midsole doesn't just improve ventilation, it also wicks away moisture, so you'll be cool and dry even in wet conditions. If that wasn't enough, the SHIMANO DYNALAST technology also encourages efficient pedal strokes and optimises your power transfer, so you'll be able to cycle powerfully for a longer time.
- 3-punts (3-bolt) schoenplaatjessystemen, zoals Look Keo of Shimano SPD-SL

After 20 years with Sidi, now the Shimano RC 7 Super
Great fit; feels nice and light on the foot
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
good value for money that lasts a long time
They’re not cheap shoes, but the double twist dial allows you to customise them very well to fit your foot. I went for a size larger because, in the summer, my black shoes were a size too small. I chose white so they wouldn’t trap as much heat in the summer. Please note, I don’t have any other shoes to try on and compare, but in my experience they’re much better than my previous pair, which had a single strap, whereas these have two twist knobs.

Worth it all
The Shimano RC703 offers incredible value for serious road riding. The carbon-blended sole provides excellent power transfer without causing hot spots or numbness on 3+ hour rides. The dual BOA dials allow precise on-the-fly adjustments, and the upper wraps comfortably like a second skin. Great ventilation, sleek design, and top-tier performance without the S-PHYRE price tag. Highly recommended!

A lovely little shoe
A stiff, well-fitting shoe
Pros & Cons

Good value for money
This is my second pair of RC703s. A great shoe with just the right stiffness and shape. For me, though, it’s just a bit too high at the front, even with the soft insole that comes with it. I don’t use that one, though, as I have a G8 insole.
