Competitive and comfortable
With the XC702 shoes, Shimano has a shoe on the market that will satisfy the needs of many: the shoe is aimed at the competitive mountain biker who wants to leave nothing to chance. The shoe is equipped with a nylon midsole reinforced with carbon, thus transferring most of your delivered power to the pedals.

The upper part of this shoe uses Shimano's Surround Wrapping. This way, the entire foot is enveloped in a seamless piece of leather, ensuring optimal power transfer here as well. The BOA IP6 buckles also allow you to tighten and loosen the shoe while cycling.

Durable and optimised for performance
The pedals belong to the M8000 XT group. This group is characterised by fantastic durability. An extra seal in the pedal axle ensures better protection of the bearings against external influences. The pedals have a relatively large contact surface which optimises power transmission, in addition it prevents an oppressive pain on the lower foot during longer rides.

The open structure of the pedal allows for better dirt removal and easier engagement and disengagement.
