Shimano Deore M6120 Trail & Enduro Groupset

The Shimano Deore M6120 Trail & Enduro groupset has almost all the technology that you find in the higher-end range as well, and is an excellent choice with hardly any compromises. With this Trail & Enduro version, you get even better braking power!

Powerful yet comfortable braking
The Shimano Deore M6120 Trail & Enduro groupset includes hydraulic brakes with as many as four pistons. The brakes are made using Shimano's Servo Wave technology, which means they move fast initially until they make contact with the rotors, then move more slowly. This prevents you from having to squeeze your brakes unnecessarily hard, and increases your control.

The brake pads are made of D03S resin for super fast stopping action. They are specially made to keep you safe while descending on challenging Enduro and Trail rides.

Solid crank and excellent chain retention
The Shimano Deore M6120 Trail & Enduro groupset includes a very sturdy 12-speed crank. The teeth on the chainring have a narrow-wide design, which Shimano calls Dynamic Chain Engagement. Thanks to this design, the chain stays securely on the chainring and does not bounce off after jumps or on rough terrain. This crank also guarantees silent and smooth power transfer to the chain, so that all you hear is the sound of the wind rustling through the trees.

Fast and quiet shifting
The Shimano Deore 12-speed cassette ensures smooth shifting at all times, even in bad weather conditions. This cassette uses Shimano’s Hyperglide+ technology, also found in cassettes in the higher segment. Thanks to the combination with the updated Rapidfire+ technology in the gear levers, shifting will not only be very fast, but also very quiet.

The Deore M6100 12-speed derailleur has a chain stabiliser. This means that shocks and vibrations are absorbed efficiently, reducing chain chatter on rough terrain. Installation is also a breeze thanks to I-Spec EV: you decide how to mount the shifter to the brake lever, so it will be in your ideal position. So, this shifter set does exactly what you want it to do!

Shimano Micro Spline freehub body
The Shimano Deore M6100 cassette uses a Shimano Micro Spline freehub body. This means that you can mount 12-speed cassettes with a 10-tooth sprocket at the end. This technology increases the range of these cassettes to allow you to achieve even higher speeds while pedalling.
