Ortlieb Quick Rack

I've mounted this rack on my Grizl using the M6-connector to carry the Ortlieb gravel pack. I love this combination. It's very solid and easy to mount and remove. Make sure to order the right size. I ordered a size that was too small to fit around a gravel tire using the axle connector. I had to bend a strut to make it work.

Incredibly satisfied. I use it with a heavy pannier on my gravel bike for commuting 2 hours a day. You don't notice it's on, it's rigid, doesn't rattle and is taken off in literally seconds. Just a real quality product.

Nice design and easy to put on and take off. Bought the normal one in terms of size. Works fine for standard panniers. Impressive amount of screws in the box, but you only need a few to install it. Incidentally, I use it with another brand of bags (Vaude) and it works fine. Also bought a mudguard with it. Connects nicely to the luggage rack. Costs a bit of money, but you have something good.

Very satisfied with my purchase. Fast and efficient delivery. I read the instructions carefully to ensure that I insert the plastic screws in the right direction and screw them in the right order to avoid damaging them. It's still a bit complicated

During the week of Easter, I used the Ortlieb Quick Rack during a six-day cycling tour of South Holland. For installation, I was able to use the M5 mounting points of the Koga Colmaro's seat stays. This made installation easy and smooth. I had expected that I might have to tighten something along the way, but not at all. The quick rack stayed firmly in place during the 430 kilometres. The Ortlieb back-roller bags, with a combined weight of about 10 kg, hung securely on the carrier for the entire ride. Even when you lift the bike without luggage, you can feel how firmly the carrier is attached to the bike.

With the new thru-axle, it is easy to install. Pay close attention to the sizing. Because the mounting point is quite low, I needed the medium version for my gravel bike. The small has too little distance to the tyre.

Installation was very easy and for my bike, such a solution was the only option for a carrier. It seems very reliable and sturdy. Wait and see what it does when I will attach 15 kg to it during a holiday. It is also the nicest solution for this category. There are several carriers but this just seemed the easiest and best. Besides, ortlieb has developed its own system for bags that also fit on this.

I use the Ortlieb Quick Rack for my two different bikes. I transfer it with ease from my electric bike that I cycle to town with panniers for groceries, to my gravel bike for bike packing adventures. It takes about 2 minutes to transfer it from one bike to the other. And it's really super secure then. Even when cycling through the woods with your gravel bike nice and bumpy.

We're looking for a lug holder that fits over a gravel carbon without risking damage. All at a reasonable price. So we came across the Ortlieb Quick Rack, and that was just great.

It is a nice bike rack, which fits perfectly with Ortlieb panniers. Mounting it does take a total of an hour, as some protection still needs to be placed on it. After mounting, it goes on and off easily.

I was looking for a carrier that I could easily put on my gravel bike and take off again. This is due to commuting during the week and gravel rides at the weekend. Ortlieb's Quick Rack is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to place and remove. Stays firmly in place. Naturally combines well with an Ortlieb pannier. Comes with quick lock 3.1 attachment points.

Fits my gravel very well. Easy to fit, well explained. I just had to change the attachment screws as they didn't match the diameter of my eyelets. Once adjusted, it takes 10 seconds to remove, so it's very easy. I'll have to see how well it supports a 20kg load...
