The chain whip is fine and does what it is supposed to do. The casette taker is the weaker brother of the two, though. For fitting a casette it is fine but I doubt you can get a casette off it if it has been on for years. For that, the lever is actually too short to apply enough force.

I couldn't get any movement in my cassette, so as a last-ditch effort, I put the whip against a wall and stood on the cassette-taker myself with my full weight (100kg). It finally came loose and the cassette-taker also survived without any problems! If I have to offer a point of criticism, the shape of the handle (end) starts to hurt your hand after applying a lot of force a few times.
