It's a nice men's bike and it likes it well

Very nice bike. Available in small frame size, so children of approx. 145cm can also ride it safely and well. Irritating rattle due to rattling of mudguard against suit carrier. Easily solved with furniture felt.

Ordered bike over the internet from Mantel. Bike was delivered by PostNL in a big box. Handlebars straight, saddle at height, pedals on and cycling. Well not so, 1st gear does not work at all. Nexus 3 not properly adjusted. Brakes are also not properly adjusted. In the evening, the headlight turned out to be far too high. Maw I had to spend quite some time tinkering to get everything right, shame next time back to the local bike shop for a new bike.

great bike from dutch soil. sleek design and solidly put together. bike is for my daughter, and she can probably ride it to school (and back) for 3 years just fine.

Nice, solid bike, very suitable for daily use, e.g. to school or around town. All cables are incorporated into the frame as much as possible, as well as the headlight, so it can stand up to rough handling. Too bad that the bike constantly makes a ticking noise (seems to have to do with the Nexus hub gear used, but other bikes with the same gear don't have this), and that we had to buy a new stand after only 2 weeks because the base was badly attached and lost it along the way.

I bought this bike because it doesn't have any bells and whistles, nor is it very expensive; just a sturdy grocery bike that cycles light, but can take a beating. That turns out to be true

Nice little bike for a great price. For rides to school about 20 minutes cycling the 3 gears are sufficient. Mudguards are a bit on the short side, especially at the back. Water splashes up there and makes for a dirty bag. Just a small mudflap. Also in front!

My oldest daughter needed a new bike after she managed to ride her old one completely to hell after about 3 years. This Gezelle is a sturdy solid bike. Not too many parts to break. It rides light and smooth. The automatic lighting is certainly handy! Especially with an absent-minded teenager who either never turns on her lights, or never turns them off, leaving you to change batteries in the rain before you've had a cup of coffee (usually in the rain). All in all, highly recommend this bike. Price/quality is top!
