Park Tool BBT-30.4 Brackettool Pressfit is provided with a longer diameter suitable to remove fatbike's bottom brackets.
De BBT-30.4 is gemaakt van robuust staal, waardoor deze tool langdurige belasting moeiteloos aankan. De doordachte vorm en lengte van de tool zorgen ervoor dat lagers gecontroleerd en zonder beschadiging uit het frame verwijderd kunnen worden. De verlengde diameter is specifiek ontworpen om ook bij bredere trapashuizen, zoals bij fatbikes, de juiste pasvorm en stabiliteit te bieden. De stevige constructie maakt het een betrouwbaar hulpmiddel bij precisiewerk aan moderne press-fit trapassen met een 30 mm as.
Functionele extra’s en slimme afwerking
De BBT-30.4 is uitgerust met twee persringen, waarmee het mogelijk is om lagers nauwkeurig in het frame te persen. Hiermee combineert de tool verwijderings- én installatiefunctie in één compact systeem. Let wel: voor het daadwerkelijk persen is een bracketpers zoals de Park Tool HHP-3 noodzakelijk. De tool is afgestemd op populaire press-fit standaarden zoals SRAM PF46 en PF42 en Race Face Cinch. Hoewel hij niet compatibel is met systemen die een binnenhuls gebruiken, biedt hij juist daardoor optimale stabiliteit bij de systemen waarvoor hij wél bedoeld is.
Deze brackettool is specifiek ontworpen voor trapassystemen met een 30 mm as en een press-fit bevestiging. Compatibele systemen zijn onder andere BB30, PressFit 30 (PF30), 386EVO, BBright en PF121. Dankzij de verlengde diameter kunnen ook bottom brackets van fatbikes zonder problemen worden verwijderd. Voor systemen met een binnenhuls of gelijmde lagers is deze tool niet geschikt.

Slightly large tip for insertion into the Pressfit Blackbearings Press Fit 41-86/92-DUB bottom bracket. Perhaps not the most suitable tool for this type of bottom bracket?

Completely meets my expectations
The guides ensure that you tap out the old bearings precisely and straight, without damaging the frame. Also thanks to the included cups, with a piece of threaded rod it is an easy job to press fresh bearings into your frame.

Not suitable for pressing PF30 cups with 41/42 mm outer diameter. They are too small for that.

Frame runner if you're unlucky.
I am very handy but my bottom bracket bearing was very stuck, probably, due to sand getting into my Cervelo R3 frame. I slapped hard but didn't dare go any further. This is not the force normally exerted on a frame so it is more vulnerable. Got one side out. Stopped and got another tool that can remove my pressfit 30 bearing by turning and not punching, and also reinsert it with an included press, for €45.00.
