While the Oakley Sutro S has many similarities with the regular Sutro, there are some important differences as well. As mentioned, the Sutro S is a bit smaller than the regular Sutro. The frame width of the Sutro S is 132 mm, and that of the standard Sutro is 139 mm. However, it is not true that the Sutro S is a model for (older) children. It is simply a smaller adult version, suitable for men with a small to medium head size. For women with a medium to large head size, the Sutro S is also very suitable. Another difference besides the frame width is that the curvature of the lens on the Sutro S has been reduced to fit the smaller frame size so that you don't lose coverage to the sides of the frame.
Frame and other technologies
The frame of the Oakley Sutro S Prizm Road is made of O-Matter, a material that is very sturdy, lightweight and durable. Thus, these sunglasses are not only very comfortable but will also last a long time. The Unobtainium nose piece ensures a firm grip even when you are sweating. In short, these sports goggles remain in place at all times and will not move easily. Thanks to the narrow arms, the Sutro S can also be combined with helmets and caps.
Prizm Road lens
This Oakley Sutro S is equipped with the Prizm Road lens, which is Oakley's all-round cycling lens. With a light transmission of 20% it is suitable for both sunny daylight and riding in the shade. The Prizm lens technology regulates the colours you don't want to see away. This makes dull colours 'warmer', which then results in better contrast. Different colours can be better distinguished, which makes all sorts of objects more visible and easier to avoid. In addition, the colour enhancement created by the Oakley Sutro S Prizm Road also brings relaxation for the eyes.

Very nice glasses
Fits very well on a narrow face. Tried many glasses and this one was by far the best fit. The frame is nice and matte and feels solid. No annoying pressure points when riding. Very comfortable. The lens adequately attenuates sunlight but brightens or sharpens the image so that you maintain perfect vision when riding through a tunnel.

I specifically bought Oakley's size S because these are 1 of the few glasses that stay on my nose as well as on my ears. The lenses fit nicely across the width of my head. The light is very pleasant and true, no eyestrain and good vision in both sun and shade.

Have had the glasses on for a few weeks during many bike rides i varying weather conditions ( race, gravel or atb) tours and despite many hours on the bike no " strain" experience and always good vision.
