Made of the latest DuraSoft Polymer material, it combines excellent shock absorption properties with a low weight of only 89 grams including the end caps. With a thickness of 2.7 mm, the tape is not too thick, so it hardly reduces control and bar feel but does effectively absorb shocks from the road.
