The KTM Scarp MT Pro mountain bike brings the speed of a World Cup racer to long marathon rides by adding extra suspension travel. With 120 mm of suspension at the front and 115 mm at the rear, you will enjoy excellent control on rough terrain. This 'fully' offers an ideal mix between low weight and technical capabilities for challenging adventures.
Lightweight carbon frame with aluminium swingarm
The frame is constructed from high-quality Premium Carbon in the main triangle combined with a sturdy aluminium swingarm. Using Straight Line Link technology, the suspension responds extremely efficiently to small and large bumps. The geometry is geared towards stability with a 67.5 degree headtube angle for calm handling on steep descents. In addition, the design offers enough space for two bottle cages, so you can always bring enough hydration for long marathons without stopping.
Reliable Shimano drivetrain and braking
Gear shifting is smooth thanks to the full Shimano Deore M6100 12-speed groupset. With a cassette range of 10 to 51 teeth, you will always have the right gear for steep climbs and fast flatter trails. Shadow+ technology on the rear derailleur keeps the chain properly tensioned so it doesn't clatter on root sections. To control speed, the bike is equipped with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes that provide consistent braking performance in both dry and wet conditions, which is essential for your safety on technical sections.
Functional finishes for rough trails
The finish of the Scarp MT Pro mountain bike is completely focused on ease of use on tricky trails. The KTM Comp dropper post lets you lower the saddle at the touch of a button, giving you more freedom of movement on technical descents. For effective grip, KTM selected Schwalbe Tough Tom tyres, which excel on soft and loose surfaces with their coarse studded tread. The Ryde Rival30 rims provide generous clearance for the tyres; with wider tyres, you will have more stability at lower tyre pressure and a more comfortable ride on dirt roads.
