Keen to take your cycling training to the next level with precise data from both legs? The INPEAK Powercrank-E TWIN2 Ultegra FC-R8100 is exactly what you’re looking for! This power meter is discreetly integrated into an original Shimano Ultegra 12-speed crankset and measures your power output on both sides, so you can easily identify any left-right imbalance in your pedalling and train specifically to address it.
This new E version makes things even easier: As the battery is built-in and rechargeable, you no longer need to replace flat button cells. Plus, whether you’re training specifically for your next race or simply want to view your power data during a ride on Zwift, this Powercrank-E communicates seamlessly with your favourite cycle computer, sports watch or smartphone via ANT+ or Bluetooth Low Energy.

TWiN2 dual-sided measurement
The sensors on both the left and right crank arms give you real-time insight into your pedalling balance (L/R) and your pedalling smoothness. This allows you to work on a much more efficient pedalling stroke, which will save a huge amount of energy on long rides.
Rechargeable battery
The hassle of flat batteries just before a ride is now a thing of the past; you can charge the built-in Li-Po battery using the handy magnetic cable in just 2 hours. A full battery gives you around 90 hours of carefree cycling time.
Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC)
Temperature fluctuations during a ride normally affect power measurements but INPEAK's ATC technology automatically corrects for this. Thus, a cold start or hot finish will not result in distorted wattage readings on your display.

Fitting this complete crankset is easy to do yourself if you have the right tools to hand. Remove your old crankset using an Allen key and a special Shimano tool for the locknut. When fitting the new INPEAK crankset, make sure you always tighten the Allen bolts on the left-hand crank arm using a torque wrench (usually 12 to 14 Nm – check the manual to be sure). This will prevent damage to the axle and ensure you get the most accurate power measurement.

• We recommend carrying out a quick manual zero-offset calibration using your cycle computer before each ride. To be sure your data is 100% accurate, position your pedals vertically, unclip your cycling shoes, and check that there is no pressure on the cranks.
• Download the INPEAK Manager App onto your smartphone. The app makes it easy to keep the firmware up to date and allows you to check battery status at the touch of a button.
• Keep the magnetic charging connector clean and dry. You can certainly rinse the crank with water after a muddy ride, but should never spray it directly with a high-pressure cleaner!

How long will the battery on the INPEAK Powercrank-E TWIN2 last?

Is the INPEAK Ultegra R8100 crankset compatible with my bike?
This crankset will fit perfectly if your bike has a Shimano 12-speed road groupset and is fitted with a Hollowtech II bottom bracket (24 mm axle). It is important to check that the bike frame leaves enough space (around 10 mm) between the chainstay and the left crank arm for the power meter sensor.
Does the INPEAK power meter work with Zwift?

Can I replace the chainrings on this Ultegra crankset myself?
Yes, you can simply replace chainrings yourself if they are worn or you want a different size. As the power meter technology is built into the crank arms themselves, you can fit any compatible Shimano Ultegra R8100 or Dura-Ace R9200 12-speed outer and inner chainrings.
