The Gazelle Bloom C380 HMS is a high-quality electric bike made especially for families with small children. Space for 2 child seats and top-of-the-range technology make this a great family bike.
Stable family bike with spacious entry
The term family bike is slowly becoming old-fashioned. After all, fathers also want to transport their children on a handy and powerful bike like this one. The advantage of this type of bike is the wide and low step trough. This makes it possible to mount 2 child seats and still have enough space to get on easily. As a result, the bike has a slightly larger wheelbase, making steering behaviour a little lamer. For a family bike, this is not necessarily seen as a downside, as it gives a more stable feel. As this e-bike has a double stand and a handlebar lock, you can put it down stably and take your time to get your child out of the seat.

Even when choosing the motor, consideration was given to what would be the perfect choice for a family bike. In doing so, we chose the Shimano STEPS E6100 mid-drive motor with 60Nm of power torque. With this amount of power, it is even possible to take your family on a nice tour over gently rolling terrain. Because this motor gradually builds up its power, you don't get all the energy you need when you ride off. This subtle build-up of power is ideal when you want to cycle quietly with your children. In terms of batteries, you have a choice of two variants. The strongest has a 630Wh capacity and can support you for up to 180 kilometres, while the 418Wh variant lets you enjoy 140 kilometres.

The most important thing in your life, is your family. That's why this family bike is focused on safety. Of course, you'll have access to good lighting so you're always visible. But perhaps even more important are the hydraulic disc brakes. These give you powerful braking performance. The advantage is that these brakes do not lose any braking power in wet conditions. Of course, the bike is also fully equipped, so you can start cycling right away.

Poor build quality

Purchased this bike about 8 months ago. Since then: a broken pedal, broken headlight, worn out front brake, new gear cables, constant error messages on the screen and failing support. In this price range, you would expect more quality.
