Because Flyer originated in Switzerland, many of its bikes are aimed at heavy use. Strong motors, wide tyres and many gears can be found on many Flyer bikes. With these features, most Flyer bikes can rightly be called electric hybrid bikes. For the Dutch market, we have made the choice to mainly go for less adventurous models. The popular Flyer GoTour 6 and Flyer UpStreet 5 are good examples of this: Great touring bikes that are just as useful during commutes as on a nice tour through nature.

Using e-bikes can make a positive contribution to a more sustainable future. Flyer has established a good alternative to travelling by car with their electric bikes, which invariably have a high maximum carrying capacity. However, Flyer has made sustainability a central concept in their operations. For instance, their head office makes extensive use of solar panels and geothermal energy, paper and cardboard is reduced and as many components as possible are made of recycled materials. Choosing Flyer is therefore not only a choice for quality, but also a choice for a better future.
