The aluminium frame features smooth welds, internal cable routing, and a lower top tube and tapered headtube for confident handling. It offers clearance for wide tyres (up to 2.25 inch), and the tubeless-ready rims allow you to switch to tubeless riding in the future.
Shimano XT 1x12 with 10-51T cassette
With a single chainring (32T) and a wide cassette, the Cube Reaction Pro MTB gives you a wide gear range for steep climbs and fast sections, without using a front derailleur. XT is renowned for precise and reliable shifting, even under load.
RockShox Judy Silver suspension fork with PopLoc remote control
The air-suspension fork has 100 mm of suspension travel and is easy to adjust to your weight. With the PopLoc remote control on the handlebars, you can lock the fork out for a long climb or a stretch of asphalt, without taking your hands off the handlebars.
A frame that grows with you
The internal cable routing already includes a feed-through for a dropper post, and the frame has mounting points for a kickstand, a luggage rack, and ACID mudguards. This way, you decide whether your Reaction Pro remains a pure trail bike or also becomes an all-rounder for everyday use.
Trail geometry and smooth welds
The lower top tube and tapered headtube increase your confidence while cornering and descending. The frame features smooth welds at the main tube junctions, and the threaded welded bottom bracket is easy to service.
Who is this bike for?
- Riders looking for a reliable hardtail MTB with Shimano XT and a suspension fork for forest tracks and trails.
- Riders who want to be able to upgrade the bike later on, for example with a dropper post or kickstand.
- Riders looking for a bike that rides well both on- and off-road, with wide tyres and a fork that you can lock out.
When to consider a different model?
- If you are looking for a lighter frame, a stiffer wheel construction with thru-axles, or higher-end components, you should go for a higher-spec model within the Reaction range.
Included as standard:
- Acid PP MTB pedals
Not included / still needed or useful:
- Kickstand – the frame has mounting points for one.
- Mudguards and a rear luggage rack – mounting points for these are also present.
- Dropper post – the frame is already prepared for one.
- MTB helmet
- Water bottle and bottle cage
You can attach any accessories (such as mudguards, a kickstand and/or a dropper post) and adjust the saddle height yourself using an Allen key. Find the tools you need in our tool collection.
- Adjust the fork’s air pressure to suit your weight using a fork pump, and check it from time to time.
- Use the PopLoc remote control to lock the fork on long climbs or when riding on asphalt; this saves energy.
- If you want to ride tubeless, order a bottle of sealant and tubeless valves. The rims are already set up for this. The tyres supplied come with inner tubes.
- Have the brakes and suspension checked annually by a professional bike mechanic, especially if you ride off-road a lot.
